Frequently Asked Questions

We know how exciting it is to watch your puppy grow! 🐾
Once puppies are born, we begin sharing updates with families, including photos and videos, on a weekly basis. These updates continue all the way through go-home day so you can follow along with each stage of their development.
We do our best to keep updates consistent, though timing may vary slightly depending on what’s going on behind the scenes—but you can always expect regular communication and plenty of adorable content along the way.
We make sure your puppy goes home with everything they need to start a smooth transition into their new home. 🐾
Each puppy will go home with:
✔ A collar and leash
✔ A blanket with mom and littermate scents
✔ Health records and a vet exam letter
✔ Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
✔ A microchip (registered through us)
✔ 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance
✔ Our lifetime health guarantee
We’ll also provide guidance on food, routine, and next steps so you feel confident bringing your puppy home.
Our puppies are raised on Life’s Abundance Small & Medium Breed Puppy Food, a premium, high-quality formula designed to support healthy growth and development. 🐾
As puppies grow, we gradually transition them from a softened mixture to dry kibble so they’re fully prepared for life at home.
We recommend continuing with Life’s Abundance after go-home to maintain the consistency they’ve been raised on and to support their continued development.
We’re always happy to help you get set up ahead of time and answer any feeding questions you may have!
Doodles require regular grooming to keep their coat healthy, comfortable, and mat-free. 🐾
We recommend professional grooming every 6–8 weeks, along with regular brushing at home in between appointments. Maintaining a consistent grooming routine is an important part of doodle ownership.
Our team is always happy to help guide you on coat maintenance, brushing techniques, and grooming schedules to ensure your puppy stays looking and feeling their best.
We understand that scheduling conflicts can come up, and we’re happy to help accommodate when needed. 🐾
We’re able to hold your puppy for up to one week past their scheduled go-home date at no additional charge.
If a longer stay is needed, your puppy will transition into our In-Home Training Program at $100 per week. During this time, your puppy will stay in a home environment with Angela or a team member and begin working on:
✔ Potty training
✔ Overnight crate training
✔ Leash introduction
✔ Basic commands
This allows your puppy to continue learning, building routine, and setting a strong foundation before joining your family.
